- Have not been convicted of a felony driving offense within the past 10 years.

- Have not had your driver's license suspended or revoked more than twice in the past 5 years.
- Submit an application for a hardship license.
- Provide proof of financial responsibility.
- Provide proof of completion of a driving instruction course.
- Provide proof of employment or enrollment in school.
- Provide proof of a doctor's appointment.
- Be sure to submit all of the required documentation with your application.
- Be prepared to answer questions about your driving record and your reasons for needing a hardship license.
- Be aware of the restrictions on your hardship license and follow them carefully.
